Urban Portraits

This project explores the human condition in urban environments, focusing on the stories written in faces and the emotions that surface in fleeting moments. Each portrait tells a unique story of resilience, hope, and the complex beauty of city life.

Shot over the course of six months across different neighborhoods, this series aims to break down barriers and showcase the diversity and humanity that exists in our urban spaces. The project combines candid street photography with more formal portrait sessions, creating a comprehensive view of urban life.

Technical details: Shot primarily with a 85mm lens for intimate portraits and a 35mm for environmental context. Natural lighting was used whenever possible to maintain authenticity and connection with the subjects.
